BeeF FlaPsYes, the 9600 PRO IS better than the 5200. 9600 is 4x AGP I think, might be 8. either way you will run at 4x anyway.

Is this card just as good as http://www.newegg.com/app/searchProductResult.asp?DEPA=0&bop=and&submit=Go&description=ati+radeon+9600&Range=1&srchFor=sapphire as the 9600 PRO with 128MB, because the atlantis has 256MB memory?

That is a slower card: Chipset/Core Speed: ATI RADEON 9600/325MHz Memory/Effective Speed: 256MB DDR/400MHz BUS: AGP 1X/2X/4X/8X

compared to the PRO: Chipset/Core Speed: ATI RADEON 9600PRO/400MHz Memory/Effective Speed: 128MB DDR/600MHz BUS: AGP 4X/8X

Get the PRO ;) Even tho the other one has more memory, I would opt for the faster card. You DON'T need 256 MB of RAM right now, with todays games YET. By the time you need 256 MB of VRAm, you should then buy the next generation PCI Xpress card to match ;)
