Anyone else getting the naplam sound after 1.1, I was getting this with 1.02 very seldom (once a week). Last night it happened twice. Anyone else here having this problem got a fix. My sound is set to low with no EAX. I have a SBLive Gamer 5.1 and the latest drivers for Win2k.

I have the same exact problem. As do many many other BFV players. Makes u wonder why its called "Quality" testing. The only fix for the NAPALM sound is to go out to the Main menu and Click on sound.

if FF is off and your teammate drops the nap, it won't hurt you. i am not sure about the nap sound going off all the time, haven't had that. but about once every 2 months i run across a server, where from time to time i get a constant machine gun sound from a tank with no one in it. but that is very rare.

I have noticed this as well, last night I spawned in naplam and was ok. All I could see was fire, kinda funny. The sound thing is killing my game, it is sooo annyoing! I installed BF42 last night and played for a while. Good fun, I really miss playing 42. I think I will start playing 42 until they fix this sound problem. I also noticed it does not happen when I create a local server or in single player mode. Anyone have it happen in singleplayer or local?

Well I'm just glad to see that I'm not the only one getting grief from this problem... But then Blastoid goes and says: "I also noticed it does not happen when I create a local server or in single player mode. Anyone have it happen in singleplayer or local?" Bummer... Yeah i have it happening in singleplayer - also I got a friend whos got the same prob, i only got version 1.02 because the downloads too big for non-broadband... Does version 1.1 actually sort this yet or what? I mean i was expecting sommat liuke this to be sorted by now... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

Hi guys.

I'm having the exact same problem with the napalm repeating sound loop as you guys. But only on Ops. Irving and Ia Drang valley. I think i sounds like it says; Buuuurn! Buuuurn! Buuuurn! Over and over again. I havent experienced it on ops. flaming dart. In my paranoia, conspiracy state of mind, I thought it could be some kind of sub suggestion, that would make me into beavis or butthead and go; burn! burn! burn. But seriosly folks does any of you guys know how to solwe this problem?
