Well, I just read what they will implement in the forthcoming patch. Unfortunately, it doesn't say anything about ATI cards, or crashing to the desktop. I'm just going to assume there's more to it and they just didn't list it all. I LOVE this game and I'm tired of being able to play only 1 game a night. :(

Whats the problem with Ati cards I have a radeon 8500 128mb and theres no problem for me and I think ive only had one or two ctds.

Turn off AA/AF. That might solve your problem. I've seen people saying similar things about BFV and ATI cards and the solution usually offered that works is turning off AA and AF.

As for the patch details... The list was an abbreviated list. They aren't going to tell you EVERYTHING they're doing until the patch comes out.

For some reason, ATI cards often get the shaft when a lot of new games are released (I have a feeling nVidia will get the shaft when HL2 comes out... but anyhow...) but there are ways around it. Check around the various threads here and you'll find some more info.

Just like with BF1942 (and a host of other games like Neverwinter Nights) a future official patch will help ATI owners... I am sure of it.
