Sounds like your not hooked up right. DSL shouldnt interupt the phone and vice versa. Are you using the phone filters?

Better late than never. It's probably a power issue. If the wireing of the DSL and phone are right next to each other, there might be interference. This can cause your computer to get a 1 instead of a 0, or vice versa. BFV might be more sensitive to this than your other games. Get a USP for your computer, make sure your dsl and phone runs through the power supply. (these get a little expensive and harder to find) and give it a shot. I doubt you can re-wire your house, but a power supply and filter at the computer could do the trick.

it sounds like a filter issue to me. because unless you have a DSL modem from years ago, it shouldn't matter if the phone rings or not. because the phone uses a much lower freq than does DSL. and if you have the proper filters on all other phone jacks in your house, and you don't have a filter on the line that your DSL uses than you should be fine. my bet is that you either missed a phone jack that is being used, and it is un-filtered.
