Yesterday I purchased a new shrink wrapped copy of BFV Redux (which includes WW II Mod & is already patched to 1.2). I installed the game, patched to 1.21, & attempted to join a server. The result... what appears to be a common Invalid CD key Error. I have uninstalled completely, tried entering the CD key both through Regedit, & Ereg, uninstalled every every single piece of the game, gone back through the registry to make sure, scanned my HDD, defragged, used both Norton & System Mechanic to clean up, Installed, uninstalled... IT STILL HAPPENS!!! Anything I've missed??

Something that I forgot to mention... when entering the cd key in ereg, according to EA's official fix, you should get an error message about image not loading on left hand side, & to ignore it. There was no error message. & also in the registry, there were entries with no values set, i.e. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/EA GAMES/Battlefield Vietnam the first entry (above GAMEDIR) is default REG_SZ (value not set) Is this correct setting?

I have the excat same problem. I have reinstalled a couple of times now because of the invalid cd key error that comes up when I try to join a server I have also done the e-reg prorgam. If you have a solution for this that is not getting a new cd key or a new game tell me . Thx in advance .. Rascalz
