Have a quick question about the Bridge Commander CD. I just installed the kdfmod.zip Klingon enhancement mod. I like the way it allows you to move while in Chase Cam mode, and another few cool enhancements. I want to reinstall so I don't have this mod on my PC. I tried to reinstall from the disk and it seems like the disk is ruined. It won't install. Now this just sucks, because I spend all day looking for this game and couldn't find it at any store I went to. I found it online, but since I don't have a Credit Card (DevilCard) I am screwed. Is there anyway I could try and recopy my disk that might fix that errors that are on it. If there is nothing I can do then I am back to just making a copy folder of my game. Only problem is when I install a mod and it works I make another copy and write over my excisting copy. I think I copied over the kdfmod.zip as well. There where so many files in that mod that I don't think it would be do able to just go and delete all the files. I know when I remove what I want to remove, the game will be missing files and won't run. So I guess I am stuck with the kdfmod till I can get another working disk. Anyone have any suggestions?

For me once when installing it, i clicked 'install' then it never came up. Try using start > run > msconfig and stop unecessary stuff from coming up aswell as hitting ctrl-alt-del to close stuff down before trying to install

Try installing it on a different PC and see if that helps.

I found that if its takein an extreamly EXTREAMLY long time to load an install, its cuz your hardrive is so fragmented that its searching for the proper stuff (don't ask what its just what the computer people told me). so just defragment it, and it should almost fix its self. But be warned if you have a large C drive, then i recemend letting the computer do it overnight and if you have a always connected internet disable it cuz it will just make it last longer.
