I'm very frustrated with the mission Arise, Fair Sun...

I do everything fine up until I go to make contact with the Kessocks. I have to destroy the emitter and then contact the Kessock outpost. When that happens we destroy the keldons.

Now when Matan's 4 ships arrive we engage them I get my a** handed to me everytime. I even tried to order my other ships to concentrate fire on one ship but to no avail.:uhoh: Even when the Enterprise shows up Picard barely does any damage.:(

I need some advice. Please help. Tell me what I can do to beat this mission.

Thanks in advance Marcos:smokin:

Make sure to talke the klingon and the geronimo with you on that mission, then order everyone to defent you, and run like hell. Max your shields and engines and keep your best shield to the enemy. Remember the 35-40km energy dropoff on beam weapons. While you're running, switch to phased torpedo's so you'll have them loaded, lower your sensors and weapons for a while to recharge the reserves for tractors, and set to single fire torpedo. When the enterprise shows up, head back, drop everything but weapons and shields to 100% and find the nearest hybrid. If it goes belly up, unload on it. Grab it in a tractor and just fire away. Fire torpedo's slowly, one at a time, and make sure you have a sure hit as you don't have many phased.

If you start taking alot of damage again, order the enterprise to defend you, and turn and fly off, zig-zagging to avoid torpedos till your shields recharge, then repeat.

Doing this will always leave one ship after you, making it easy targets for your allys.

I was about to make a post about this one. I'm on Admiral, and was wondering what two ships to take with me. The San Francisco just wasn't working, and I was thinking about bringing Korbus along.

The Hybrids are tough ships, and starforce2 is correct when he says belly-up. The strongest shields for those vessels are fore and dorsal. 22 for each. 8 for the rest.

Alright, just used part of the tactic. I didn't have to hit-and-run, but locking a tractor beam and ordering your "wingmen" to Protect You is an excellent tactic. Unfortunately, you are unable to order the Enterprise around.
