Ok im no modder as i suck at it. but im currently learning how to make scripts.

im currently working on how to make pulse weapons. the current idea im haveing is putting pulse weapons on ships that look like phaser beams. Im hopeing that i can make the beam long and make it so that it looks like a phaser beam. Any help i can get in this would be appreciated.

its hard to explain as im working on a way to make it work. Basicly im makeing the phaser beams into pulse phasers with a long beam (like a normal ingame phaser beam) hopefully, it will go hand in hand with the fire under cloak mod as a way of finding ships (like the E-E in Nemesis)

Fire under cloak?! You can't do that! That goes against the rules that Activision set out for modding the game. I thought that required actually modifying the bc.exe file and that wasn't allowed. Or am I mistaken?

Ah, I see. I just read the forum on it (it's been a while since I was there) and it's a neat idea using a transparent model. I'll give it a shot when it comes out...

You can actually sort of amke Long Beam Pulse, just set down the max charge and up the Discharge Rate on a normal phaser
