Hey all,

I've installed Rick Knox's Sovereign (the p81 version) to use in single-player. The ship is great and looks awesome, but there seems to be trouble with the torpedoes. In the mission where you first get command of the U.S.S. Sovereign and take it out for a shakedown cruise, my torpedo selection button is blank. Pressing it doesn't change the load and any attempt to fire them results in the crash of the game.

Anyone know what's wrong?

that would be a hardpoint issue. It's possible there is a multiplayer file somewhere. Oh! I think I know who can help. Let me go track this down...

Ok, I've dispatched an e-mail to the maker of the intrepid in single player mod. Obviosuly, this person knows his way around the scripts for it, so I've asked him if he'd be willing to make a mod containing all of the p81 replacements, so you'd play like normal and the geronimo and nightengale ect would be p81's I might even speak to P81 about comming up with all the registries for all the ships from the game. (geronimo..ect) and I'll see if I can find a decent vorcha and bop around, as I don't think p81 has those 2. Now if we can only find a really good kessok texture overhaul and warbird too.

There may be a relatively easy option here... download the SDK, run the Model Property editor. Open the sovereign.nif file from data/models/ships/sovereign then when it asks you if you want to load a new script file click on YES. then open the sovereign.py file from scripts/ships/Hardpoint. Then click on Named Objects. Then click at the top of the tree menu. Then in the lefthand side box you should get all the ship's properties. Click on Torpeados, then click Edit Property . A box with [1] [2] [3] [4] is then on screen with a drop down menu. click on the dropdown menu and select 2. then click on the [1] box, there it should say something like tactical.projectiles.photontorpedo and a number below it (around 200) if there isnt then type in tactical.projectiles.photontorpedo then in the [2] box type tactical.projectiles.quantumtorpedo load the game and you should have both photon and quantum torpedos! Hope this helps! Email me at robfreeman02@btopenworld.com if you need help. -- Rob P.S. I think I should be given a higher rank.

Hey all,

Sorry that I haven't replied in a while, but I've fixed the problem. A quick reinstall of the game. I've been installing the Foundation after I already installed the MOD Packer/Installer, so I was disconnecting the Foundation from the MOD Packer/Installer.
