I have a Question. Is it possible to make a mod which enables the ship to experience a core Breach. like if your ship's warp core is damaged in a battle and Decreases to a certain stage (its "health") then whe comp would say something like warp core breach in progress and with that new mod out, the comp could try to vent plasma to stop it.

Just watch your core damage, if it gets to damaged, use sneakers core ejection mod to eject it, then use the plasma vent to vent it. i found the nacells take more damage afterwards, but its possible to save the ship then.

Yeah, but i think you missed the point of that post. I've always wanted that too. Whos to say out of the blue you could have a core breach??? i mean the core ejection is a great mod. i just wish we could use it alittle better. very rarely have i have to eject it because it was gonna blow. so maybe it possible to make it only take a few hits or something like that..

It would be very possible. The mod would have to set the warpcore to non-critical, and be activated when the core was at a certain percentage. When that point is reached, a countdown would operate before the self destruct function was activated, unless the vent plasma mod was used. What happens after that - is the core unusable/less usuable, does the breach occur again if the core is repaired then taken down again... would be up to the individual modder.

A more complex mod would keep the warpcore critical, then drain the rest of the health when the breach occurs, using nano's predetermined warpcore effect to finish off the ship. This would require a new version of the self destruct function that returns the warpcore with zero health when the countdown finishes.
