I'm playing BIA in single player mode due to a very slow dialup.I want to know if there are mods that will affect the game.especially since I have to play with the dvd in place.how do I add mods? is there a file I'm missing that would enable me to mod the game to where I would not have to use the disc?I've only seen 1 mod so far that might be usable in sp and it's a sound mod that apparently changes the rifle sounds.but how do I back up the original sounds and add the new ones?any help appreciated.also are there any other mods available for single player?Thankssmilie.gif

Mods are slowely being developed for this game, the SDK and patch (and the tuts) were just made available to the public recently. There are some mods that have been released, like the TLB mod, see them all here. As for not having to use the CD in rom during a game, that sounds like you're referring to a crack...and that's not allowed here.

The only way to play a game without the CD/DVD is using a crack which yes they are generally illegal. Whenever updating the game you also need to apply a crack for the latest patch. Mods are slowly progressing but I think that they may as well begin being made for Earned In Blood. Even then I think Ubisoft and Gearbox need to advertise the game more heavily and show more new features of the game.

Are there any mods developed for single player? seems like all the mods I've seen are for multiplayer/online. It looks as tho the newest mod for BIA is earned in blood! It would be nice to be able to ad mods for s/p. missions or something. I finally got all the way through BIA in "easy" mode, and I'm working my way through in "normal" eventually I hope to make it through in "authentic" or the hardest level. by then "EIB" will be out. I just thought it would be nice to see something new that could be added. Any thoughts as to what might be another interesting fps? I also play COD and CODUO.is medal of honor or any thing like that as good as these?as you can tell I'm new to fps combat games. thanks for any suggestions.smilie.gif

As far as mods for BiA, you need to be patient, as the SDK wasn't released all that long ago, and mods take some time to develop. If your mainly into SP, then you have 2 good ones aready, COD and UO will keep you busy for sometime...

How can I add mods to the game when it is on a dvd?I found some sound mods and what claims to be a single player mod. but I can't change anything on the dvd. I copied the dvd to my program files it still has to use the dvd in my "e"drive. I tried to add the new sounds to the copy in programs. I couls add them in but they don't seem to be working. I'm interested in the "lost Battallion" mod. so how do I get it to work?smilie.gif

Once the game install to your HDD, you only need the disc in the DVDrom so you can play it; The game doesn't play off the disc. You don't copy the files off the disc, you need to install the game from the disc.
