@ Toltec - what you say about running punkbuster is in essence correct: if you run a punkbuster enabled server, you should run a pure server as well. You dont have to make it pure, but whats the point of setting up pb only to undermine it with allowing non_standard files and folders.
But running a pure server is perhaps more improtant than running pb with COD2 at the moment. This keeps out non standard files. But with the amount of mods out there, many servers would be empty if they were all pure, coz the players with mods would have all sorts of problems connecting to pure servers. So lots of them running their server impure so as to allow the mod players on.
Hey thanks, Is there a program for CoD2 that is similar to Counter Intelligence that was made for MOH. I would like to keep our server full witch means that i would not want to run it pure or with PB on it. I still would like the ability to screenshot someone and Kick + bann them from our server. Also is it easy to config. the server to PB for matches that will be played on there. For normal gameplay i probably won't run PB but for clan matches i would run it. Does anyone know of another program out there like Pure MoH. It was a exec. that would remove all mods and custom maps from your MoH folders and store them in its own folder so you could play in a pure server. Then with a click of a button it would place everything back in its place so you can play with your mods again. I do have the Pure Moh exec. if anyone would like to take a look at it. Thanks for the help guys.

That speaks volumes about the "style" of play you prefer. I myself would rather play in a cheat free environment.
@ Toltec: what you describe with the MOH thing is very similar to the CODUO purity fixer. I havent had a look at it with COD2 but it cant be that much different it wouldnt work with COD2. I'll have a look at it.
But if you want to get it yourself in the meantime, download it here:
as regards doing 'instant' configs for PB, when PB is implimented into COD2, simply running a different server config file will turn things on and off. As for mods etc, these should ideally be run from an fs_game directory anyway, where they wouldnt affect what was in the main folder - thus making it 'pure'.
