I've a problem, i can't see any form of bump, normal, specular mapping in cod2 demo.I can't see any enabling option in the graphic option menu, it's just model detail set to normal, smoke and corpse...but nothing about dinamic light, bump mapping etc....I've a asus radeon 9600 SE (it's not a super video card but i never had problems with others games with this type of graphics)

No, there is no dynamic light effect in the demo, that can be selected. This should change for the full release.

actually the part that says number of dynamic lights is were dynamic lights are selected...

if your running it at force directx7 then you can't see this option.

yeah it is normal...

those effects kill your fps.

you don't need bump mapping to have a good looking game anyways... just boost the resolution and your anistoperic filtering, and anti aliasing real high.

Changing around the DX forcing in this game is the most major difference in graphics you will find, with DX7 forced on the game will look like crap but perform well, opposites for DX7 off.

I have forced dx7 and can get dynamic lighting with bloom but no shadows.

You may be able to get dynamic lighting options on, but when you turn DX9 on you will see a hell of a difference in the way shadows are rendered on small things, self-shadowing in particular.
