Ok, it looks like this problem is afflicting numerous ATi users. The resolution fix I posted DID NOT work. I believe this to be a driver issue.

Yea I was playing the demo and it loaded and everything I clicked my mouse to start the game and some text came up and all of a sudden I got the blue screen of death! Dum dum dum! I also have a Radeon card and I see they have a new driver out but the release notes don't seem to be opening...

www.ntbrad.com/bsod.htm you might need to find out exactly what error it is giving. The following link should help you in fixing the problem. I have a feeling its a hardware problem.

Don't think a Radeon Mobiltiy M6 card is supported chipset for the game. At least the demo, things could change for the full release.

thanks for the replies m8s:); tried everything but nothing; maybe is a chipset (amd or via) issue...

Ok, try this.... Default everything to its base setting. Disable the force enable. MAKE SURE THE RESOLUTION YOU ARE USING IS NOT THE MAX SUPPORTED RESOLUTION OF YOUR MONITOR! I did this and it worked, I slowly brought up my settings and it turns out CoD2 is one beutifal game.
