What are your hopes for the fate of CoD2? Post your expectations as well.

i want D-day..
and since most CoD players will migrate over to CoD 2, thats a big reason why i just preordered CoD 2 today.
i think it will be cool plus it will be nice to have some more weapons.
I'm way cooler than n0e (who isn't though?)

From what I know about the game, I expect it to be as awesome as I found the original.
Here's what we know: British have two campaigns, one in North Africa, another in Western Europe. Russian campaign is partly a remake of Stalingrad, a bitter winter fight though. US campaign features Point du Hoc. What has been hinted at: The traditional beach landing level will be taken over by the British (yay!) as opposed to the US, who will be busy scaling ladders. Tanks will make another welcome appearance. Captain Price has a cameo/role.
i just hope it doesnt require higher systems like bf2...
Agree with that! My comp couldn't handle the BF2 demo very well. I hope for D-Day and beaches - but better than MOH - and lots more infantry, gritty, street to street fighting and house clearing. I hated the bomber mission in CoDUO. I think CoD's at it's best on the ground. Just played through the original CoD for the fourth time. I'm sure many of you can beat that total. It's still a great game though, apart from a few obvious bits (Eder Dam anyone? Chateau?). The opening Dawnville section (up until the pint where you get rid of the mortar crews and jump into the car) is one of the best gaming experiences ever. Any comments on that  Rol on CoD2
For some odd reason I liked CoD:UO's Bomber mission. It was good fun, but it did seem out of place in an infantry ground combat game, I agree. The Chateau was also quite fun... but Eder Dam = teh SAS 1337 CS cash in!!!11one
I Want Operation Market Garden. When I saw Band Of Brothers I got interested in Market Garden. It looks fun.
