This is for 192837465 user_offline.gif vbmenu_register("postmenu_2780813", true); Probably the amount of gamestates a game determines how much stuff can be "put in" a map. 16 k to 32 k isn't squat. If that is the case...but then the readme nor any other offical doc state otherwise.

Tally: He asked what gamestates were. In the patch thread I simply anwsered his question. People were asking in that thread, where is this and where is that in the patch and gamestates came up... I answered him. That is it. If you call this de-railing the thread so be it. Heck you started out by mentioning all the stuff that was in it.

Why don't you start a topic/thread discussing what is in and what's been left out so that we don't do this incorrectly too.... Just a suggestion. (edit: oops saved this... man this should probably be it own thread too... god when does it all end....lol) IWN Déjà vu

proof? did you check the source link I gave?

It was a post from IW's PR man:

1. The gamestate was changed from 16k to 128k. Simply put, this will allow for larger mods and was highly requested by the mod making community

Now, how about your 'proof' its still at 16k? (and that link only brings me to a restricted area) Could it be the tests that are being carried out on reported gamestate?

Please dont make the mistake a lot of thinking that sent gamestate equals the same as maximum gamestate available.

A test on a server where you read the logs for reported gamestate sent does not report maximum available gamestate.

I just cant bring myself to accept that [IW]fourzerotwo would cock up something like this. I think its more to do with the testing, and the inexperienced people trying to make sense out of a server test report, thats leading everyone to believe that 402's statement is inaccurate.

Man.. who do we beleive at this point? One person saying it IS increased, another say it is NOT increased. Wolfie has screenshots of the same problem we've always had and the low gamestate. That seems to be more proof to me than 402 claiming it is 128k. What other proof can we get from 402 that the gamestate is indeed 128k? Tally, you say that sent gamestate SENT is not the same as available gamestate. How can we confirm available gamestate?

Whats the matter Tally, the opinions and proof offered by qualified mappers and modders (like Wizard220) not good enough for you. What about Chris_P from Treyarch and all the others posting at IWN.

Appears you still don't know the truth when it jumps up and slaps you in the kisser.
