nother fun fact: did you notice half the german army in europe is obese?!? and 1/4 wears a mustache??> forbidden in german army...[/quote] shameless errors on the part of iw because the german army was elite and trained very harshly the only obese people you could probably find in the army are the officers and thats true in everyarmy even today officers are fat but soliders and people who acutally do the fighting are thin and buff:mad:  :naughty: i think it was put in there to steriotype the germans more so you can enjoy killing them more:0wned: who doesnt enjoy shooting a fat guy?-lol

A lot of Germans fighting on the eastern front had beards and moustaches. The intensity of the Russian attacks and counterattacks left little time for grooming. I saw some photos taken of German 6th army at Stalingrad and they looked like a bunch of winos who just crawled out of an alley. I think it would look goofy if the Germans were all running around with new spic n span uniforms. They would use anything they could find to wrap around themselves and keep warm, be it a table cloth, curtains, whatever. On the western front, they were in a real mess with ammo, fuel, food and personnel shortages so those guys prob looked like hell to.

yeah i knew about that and its fine that the germans should look unshaven but thats different from a neatly trimed mustash that they have in the game.but i really hate the fat germans which the german army had very little or none of just like anyother army in the war

yes, in russia things were hard especially in stalingrad for the germans. the pictures of the surviving germans who surrendered, show skeletic bearded and exhausted men, dressed with every peice of cloth theiy could find... but the mustache guy, has a neatly trimmed mustache and no beard. germans even had to have their hair cut in particular way, very short on sides longer on top. and for the fat guy, there is no excuse for him. food was rationned, plus in 44 this guy must have had alot of service years behind him. i have never ever seen a picture of an obese german soldier, exept for some very high placed officers who had all the food they wanted. i must admit that in the mission were the fat guy surrenders to you, i had great fun beating the crap out of him over and over and over :naughty:

well i shouldnt be too annoyed (even if iam german) because the fat guy and mustash issue should be correctable by some good oldfashioned modding provided of course they release the modding tools death to the fat guy-lol:cya:  :smokin:

Really people, some of the things you're griping over seem trivial. So what if the Germans are a little fat? I've never noticed it, I'm too busy killin' them. It doesn't really affect the gameplay at all.

Actually, I've never noticed any fat Germans either. But now that it's been pointed out I intend to uninstall the game and break it. Moustaches are one thing but an overweight German crosses the line of good taste. Where are the warning labels on the box? joking of course...
