Lately, I have taken to squeezing every ounce of realism into Call of Duty 2 Single Player. Let me explain. I have been: 1. Setting my lights according to the in-game lights. If it's in the desert, all the lights go on. If it's dark, I'll turn only one distant light on dim. 2. Wearing the actual stuff. Really! Ever since I got my Lee-Enfield, my Dad and I have been buying up lots of British militaria, such as a Tommy helmet and the entire belt/suspenders gear. I've been playing the British campaign lately, and have been wearing them while I play. It's actually kind of fun. Share your other crazy (real) ideas and please put in your word. -ARC trooper, ready for extraction.

Well, i brought my computer out into the desert and planted it in the middle of a war, then i started playing the british campaign,

Then when i played the Tank mission, i acutally linked my computer up to a tank outside and where ever the tank went in the game it would do outside my house, boy what a disaster..

lol jk around, obviously, the only thing i do is turn my lights off...

well, there is this thing called electricity, and in a house you can make a lightbulb turn on and off by clicking something called a "switch".

So, the guy means that when he plays on his PC (which also uses electricity), he sometimes clicks the switch and turns off the room's lightbulb.

hope that clarifies matters ;) :D

yea, before you bust a tank through the neighbors wall, i would recommend trying to find a good realism mod. how do u play on a computer with world war 2 gear on? thats like trying to eat a meal in a firemans suit...

lol this game is not realistic so shutting the lights off would just give u a better pic not better realism just look at the speed of the players the bunny hoping the arcade resitance to weapons , the lightning fast recovery, the lack of realism and historical accuarcy of the maps, the way to quick weapon switch, the weapon behavoir(no recoil and wave ) and the sheer arrogance of making the allies win every single map so easly without the presance of real german tanks (panzer3,4,panther, tiger ect) airforce support or any tactics resembling axis commanders such as rommel. so i say waste of time i suggest serious cod2 modding or Red orchestra(although its multiplayer and ost front)

and that is your opinion, others think differently, you may find it unrealistic..

but others find it just right... respect that
