Tumerok89You're 15 and your parents are hiding things from you for christmas? wow America is weird, here at the age of 8 it gets to the point of "heres some money, buy what you want for christmas now that it is coming up" Anyway, if you can't be bothered to wait till christmas just get a job and buy it now.

It is sad, that we can't all live in the utopia you describe. To me it seems "weird" to give an 8 year old child money and send him on his way to buy his own Christmas gifts. VERY WEIRD. But then I guess even those who are "weird" should be able to celebrate the holidays in any manner they choose.....don't you agree?

i live in the united kingdom as well (25 miles from you infact) and i dont think i have ever heard of an eight year old getting money like you said to "go and buy something themselves" thats just shitty parenting i'm affraid well erm, happy christmas :cya: and america weird? judging from what you wrote i'm sure they now think we're weird, you muppet!

Actually I've spent some time in London and around the UK and love your country very much. The fondest times of my life were spent in several pubs, especially a few in Edinburgh Scotland. If I were not established with a home, family, and occupation here, The UK would be my first choice to reside. I miss you!:)
