hi , i'm wanted to buy CoD , but don't know which version to buy! the most exiciting option for me is the number of ppl online. someone told me CoD has 100,000 ppl online , someone else said it has 1000 to 10,000 ppl ! so ... which version is most crowded online ?

if you mean version by vCoD, UO and CoD2 the obvious answer would be CoD4 :) the 2nd is/will be CoD2 when CoD4 hits worldwide. the first 2 cods have less players every day, and most of cod2's community will move on to cod4

Lets just say, you will always find a game to play if you are looking for CoD being it CoD2 or the new CoD4. Big numbers hurt my head. I'll just say ALOT.

COD 1 and COD UO still have a vibrant community of players. I would argue that it is actually stronger. Last time I played COD UO I had no problems finding servers/maps I wanted to play, they were quite numerous.

I would strongly advise trying the demos out first to see what you think of the gameplay. COD2 was not all that successful for a reason, the style differs greatly from the first. I am sure many here will vouch for COD2, but there is a very large number of players who find this game appallingly bad. It eventually comes down to finding the right server with the right mod at the right time. But then again it all comes down to personal tastes and how you like to play.

I also might advise taking a look at Red October, last time I checked you can get it on Steam for $10. RO is what COD2 should have been, although it is much more realistic and difficult. But the gameplay can be just amazing at times

first i'm not worry about not finding someone to play , the only thing i really wanna see is "10,000" ppl online, it is kinda stupid ! i've played some online games, some had 20 ppl or even less online and i could still find someone to play with! btw, is it the most crowded "matching between ppl" online ? ( i think WoW is the most crowded game online , but it is not battling with ppl ) then again when i go to the shop i told them i want which CoD ?

If u mean how many people in a server at one time 64 peeps is max i think. U can use xfire to see how many peeps are playing what games.

I would go with COD and COD UO... COD 2 and 4 are just more of the same rehashed gameplay,COD and CODUO are A LOT more exciting and fun to play. Besides, I'd wanna start at the beginning.

i would suggest COD2 only cause that is the only one i played besides COD finest hour which was a game tht took a day to beat. well here is the real thing you need to focus on when choosing which version: do you like modern crap or WW2 better?
