Master of Darkness
13th April 2007
Afternoon ladies and gentlemen, for the few of you that know me, heloo, and for the rest of you i'm here from the far reaches of the Forgotten Hope board but that is beside the point.
We all understand the point of balance in a game but do you ever wonder what happens when it goes a little too far? Like, when it gets to too far and then keeps going? Well here is a little snippet of gameplay that i have put together not to whine, but rather to see how many of you would share the same laughs as me when this is pointed out.
For your viewing enjoyment i give you the M14/21.
(see link below)
I would just like to mention the fact that all perks and attachments for both weapons are exactly the same, keeping with the scientific method and all, i would like to point out the relative crosshair sizes.
Take from this what you will, its just something that caught my attention in an amusing sort of way.

Simply put, the M14 is under Assault Rifles and the M21 is under Sniper rifles. Assault rifles don't have as much of a penalty when firing from the hip as sniper rifles do, regardless of attachments or perks.
It's a game, not "real life" or a simulation of real life, so the near identical nature (virtually identical I think) of the M14+M21 is irrelevant in the game.
