I have been thinking of getting CoD4, because I love the MP action of the past CoD games.

I've heard the SP is short, as well as some other issues. Is the game going to be worth my $50???

If I do get it, I'll grab it off of STEAM

the game is awesome. there is so much more given to the online play than the other games. i was almost scared out of my seat playing single player when a dog came running at me! -i can only play on nonpunkbuster servers due to my punkbuster error. please help me find the reason in my other post under the problems forum!!!-

Definetly hands down buy it.

Steam is awesome and has a great bundle for PC if you like CoD4 and Assasins Creed for 90 bucks...

Anyways

Sp is Short but has AMAZING quality in story and environment is worth buying for that alone.

The MP is basically wahtd youd expect from CoD but with the perks, killstreak rewards and flexible gametypes-Its sure to have you playing for hours.

LOL- I probably sound like a salesman now, don't I?

I do reccomend it though.

Good day folks. It looks to me right now like a solid investment. The MP has drawn me in, I only have about an hour into the SP. I'm sure when I need a break from MP that the SP will be a good change of pace.

Who buys a CoD game for the SP anyway, I haven't even touched it yet.

MP is pretty decent. A few small issues that annoy me, like the fact FF has to be enabled in order for the server to be ranked, and RPG spam sucks, but otherwise it's good.

FF having to be enabled in order for the server to be ranked is not only a good feature, but a serious one as well.

As if the rank of players on servers where bullets discriminate between players would signify any level of skill.

The game strives for realism, what do you expect?

As far as being worth 50.

No, not at all.

What more can I say.

Singleplayer is cinematic and awesome, although short, its got a lot of replay value and is very good.

Multiplayer will have you playing for a long time just like all the other COD. Awesome modes, weapons, perks and new additions which make it so much fun.

Oh and did anyone wait until the end credits of the SP? You get a bonus SAS mission onboard an inflight jet. You have around 3 minutes to storm through the jet with your team, kill a hell load of terrorists, get the VIP, jump out of plane, parachute up and booom the plane explodes. Its awesome !
