NighteyesI think the Panther was the best tank. I know the tiger and King Tiger were bigger and meaner, but the panther was better or on par with any allied tank (the t-34 was based on the panther and was roughly comparable). With the numbers it was made it can be considered as the best tank (performance, kills, ease of use, reliability, etc)

HEY SMART STUFF, the Panther Tank came out AFTER the T-34, if anything the Panther was made like the KV-1 or KV-2, anyways the King Tigers II's were made to counter T-34/85 problem.

Oh yeah, and for any of you that don't know the Panzer IV was an anti-infantry tank, the Panzer III was an anti-light/medium tank, (The more you know) It's great to learn, CAUSE KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

I like to rant :) and one more thing, Panthers barely saw the Eastern Front because the Red Army was a little more than half way to Berlin at the time, anyways the Panther Tank was used mostly in France for preparation for the Allied Invasion thought to be at Pas-de-Calais

Uh, have you heard of double and triple posting? Generally its frowned upon. But yes, knowledge is power, but since people don't always listen to knowledge, I now prefer C4 for power

StalingradK The Tiger II was initiated before the T-34/85 was encountered on the Eastern front. Also, it is untrue that the Panther wasn't used on the Eastern front. It first saw action during Unternehmen Zitadelle in 1943 with Panzer-Regiment 39 (200 in total). Later on, it was also used quite extensively, e.g. on 1945-03-15, where 817 out of the 995 anthers available (operational and non-operational) (82 %) were located with units on the Eastern front. On 1944-05-31, 301 out of 313 Panthers (96 %) were likewise on the Eastern front, and this numbers was further strengthened by 265 Panthers on the Eastern front on 1944-06-30, with none being sent to the Western front.

Yes it was, infact after Kursk, most of the Panthers were moved to be stationed behind the Atlantic wall in Northern France and will all of you shut up about all these shitty models of tanks? The T-34/85 was the best overall tank of World War II, yes there were more powerful ones but who the fuck cares if they could only move 15mph, and Shermans did suck for anyone that objects they were called flaming coffins and friers by many other nations that ever used them or saw them preform in combat, more does not mean better by the way.
