because well, alot of weapons are better than it.
Garnad, MG42 (which shouldnt be a choice), etc.
Well, some people did say that it was one of the best of WW2. Ah well.
STV40 Moslin Nagent 1891/30
LoL Heh? You mean SVT40 and MOSIN NAGANT Moslin is some weird fabric i think.
some finnish weapon that the pphs (apparently) was based off of
Umm.... NO. sorry. The two weapons may look somewhat similar but in reality they are nothing alike. The ppsh is much much simpler and cheaper to produce. Here is a comparison: Soumi-ppsh41 : mp44-ak47 They look similar but are very diferent.
Being based off doesnt mean it was copied exactly. In the winter war, there wasnt no ppsh. The russians got their hands on the finnish suomi and decided to make an smg. They did not copy everything, but its enough that they got their idea from that weapon.
yeah, im with stealth on this one. the suomi, although not at all famous, was both powerful and accurate. the ppsh was a great weapon too, being copied from the soumi. the STG44 had the potential to be great, but it came too late in the war to be of any importance.
RevenDoes anyone want a vote? If you do I will need nominations. 10 or under though because there are only ten places. I would nominate: M1 Garrand MG-42 Kar98k (Counts as scoped and unscoped) Browning Auto PPSh and FG-42
Don't forget the Stg 44! :D
If you look later on in the thread it does appear. It is in the vote.
MG-42 because it was the best machine gun of the Second World War.
Why was it the best machine gun? Explain your answer!
Look Reven. I dunno if u know this, but all modern machine guns are based off the MG42 it was so superior.
u know that lol, didnt ya?
