I wanted to make a bind that would log me in as an admin, then say something. All in one key.... but i'm a retard and i couldnt get it to work. This is what I had so far bind kp_enter rconpassword “mypasswordhere”;wait 200;rcon say “^1Watch out! ^7redtide has ^1logged in!”;wait 200;rcon say “^1Be afraid! ^7cause he’s not scared ^1TO ABUSE IT! It logs me iin as an admin, then nothing else! So basicly i press kp_enter and then the bind would log me in and say "watch out redtide has logged in, be afraid hes not scared to abuse it" but nope, no luck Any suggestions anyone!?

Not sure...

Easy way though make another bind to say watch out redtide has logged in, be afraid hes not scared to abuse it and press it after you pressed the one to log you in :)

You must put the entire bind in quotes. And then, since the entire bind is in quotes, you can't put any parts of it in additional quotes.

bind kp_enter "rconpassword mypasswordhere ; wait 200 ; rcon say ^1Watch out! ^7redtide has ^1logged in! ; wait 200 ; rcon say ^1Be afraid! ^7cause he’s not scared ^1TO ABUSE IT!"

The Quake 3 console usually does not recognize nested quotes.

I have it copied to a Word file. THan i just copy the text from that to the COD mp_config file in the main folder.

Thanks soooo much for the help, it works like a charm! You're my new hero Darwin!
