Is there a way to find my cd key somewhere in my COD folder? I have it installed and have the disk but can't find the case. Please help. I would think that it is stored on there somewhere.:(

Nope, you won't be able to find it anywhere besides on the case. ALWAYS right down your CD keys and place the list in a safe place.
What are these damn animals?

Yep, always write it down and be sure to keep the case safe, ie on a CD rack.
do you think that there is anyway if I called customer support they would tell me how to get it? I think it has to be in there somewhere just because punkbuster has to get it from somewhere to ban you.

Unless you are able to locate the case, you have little choice except to re-purchase the game, I'm afriad to say. :uhm:
Your CD keys are sacred to you as a gamer; treat them as such.

if you always find yourself losing the jewl case, write the CD key on the disc itself before you even isntall.
I didn't make it!
The cdkey should be located in your registry if you have it installed......I think there is utilities out there that can find you key for you.....try a google search.....you paid for it so the key is yours to use....

You guys don't need a tool that'll probably steal your keys. It's in the registry. Go Start -> Run and type "regedit". Navigate to the following folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Activision There are two folders, one for Call of Duty and, if you have United Offensive, the second one is for UO. Your CD Key is the series of numbers and letters next to the entry titled "key".
