There's a long, complicated way to convert it to a .AVI that I don't feel like explaining right now...

Wish I could remember where I found it :( .

It involved running a script to convert every frame to a .TGA image and then loading them into a program to compile them into video.

I can't remember how to go about the sound for it though.

u can do it otherwise: download fraps version x.x run the .dm2 demo and start fraps the fraps generates .avi movies from that what in the demo happans then (i do it like this) open windows movie maker and put in what u (fraps) have recorded and then windows movie maker converts the avi to .mpeg1/2 (dont know) i have done some phunny movies with this but if u want to cut the .dm2 movies and put them together ..forget it! this is not possible! but u can record them with an external recorder and them prepare them i hope ur quistion is dont

becareful with fraps as it'll make a huge avi file depending on the time of the demo.

so my best bet for you, is get a huge hard drive :P

the way to edit demo files is, first you need to convert to avi files (ie fraps) then edit the avi like you were going to make a home movie, this will include cut and paste of avi files. Its a long process, but if ou have the time and programs (fraps, virtualdub, tmpgenc etc etc) then you could make a little movie :D

good luck
