im a noob wen it comes to how games are made but i noticed that the demos you can take in cod require the map to load and leaves me to think these are not videos they are more of a view of a game. could these file be use to create replays of you fav games. to relive those great moments.or improve on those that didnt go to well. i have no idea how it works but maby someone could shed some light on it for me tnx mike

When playing a game on any server (or Singleplayer) you can record a demo. Open console ('~' button above TAB) and type : record "name of the demo" You can name it what you want. If you want to play back the demo just do the same but type in console : demo "name of the demo". That should work. When you want to stop a demo from recording just type in console : Stop record Sam

It's: /record "filename" (without quotation marks) and /stoprecord

To view a demo start cod multiplayer and in main menu go to console and typ /demo "filename" (without quotation marks).
