i've seen several mentions of "ragdolls". what does this mean?
its when someone gets shot or gets blown up and die and they hit the floor and react with surrounding objects very effectivly causing death too look real. In older games, like Call Of Duty its self and BF1942, the way people die are animations, so if someone happens to have there back to the wall and gets shot in the head, half there body will go through the wall, while if it was ragdolls they would act, like a ragdoll, so they would appear to be sitting up on the floor with there head looking down and there back against the wall. hope you understand :)
Its just a way of programming models to react realistically to the game's physics engine.
ok - i get it.
