I think Wisebobo is right, they were coated with a thin layer of grease at the factory.
after 1.1, it got much easier to get headshots. i remember playing pavlov with a kar98 and taking me 3 shots to get a headshot on 1.1. on 1.2, i got three shots, three headshots. i also got a headshot with an mp40 without using the sights from one side of hurtgen to the other. the mp44 is insanly accurate in the crosshairs and unless u have a rifle, most people dont even use the sights. my point being REDUCE THE ACCURACY AND GET RID OF THE DARN CROSSHAIRS!!!
this is getting boring now, ok bobo i think is right but can you two please make a thread called "the ongoing battle between bobo and ironman" because this forum is titled "explain this", NOT the above. the topic is supposed to be about call of duty, NOT real life guns....
OR you can go on msn or any other chat prog, argue for 23 years, and then send in the chat log to this forum. we can all go and lock ourselves up in a wooden shack and take 36 years to read the entire thing. HOW FUN THAT WOULD BE!!!!!
BUT PLEASE, do not go on about the same stuff again and again. P L E A S E!!!!!
"Guns like that were coated with grease at the factory? That seems unlikely?"
It's Called Cosmolene. It's like a preservative. Almost every gun I've seen imported from Overseas had it or had it at one time and my M91/30 had some left on it when I bought it.
Well, I didn't buy it but I earned the money and me dad bought it but all in all it's mine but its under his name. Can't buy Rifles under 18 and Pistols under 21 here in the states.
