I was asking the admins, they're the only ones with the power to move it. Besides, that is were this disscusion belongs.
If you've done what I recommended, then I'm afraid there is nothing more that can be done. As you say, the newer graphics card you had (the NForce4) gave you better FPS. And thats because of the speed of the graphics port - its slower on the NForce 2 you are currently using. But fps fluctuates anyways. But it will NOT be the cause of you not being able to shoot. Fps is only about momentum of the game engine - not about ability!! Some bench tests on games such as Doom3 and Far Cry only produce fps of around 30 -50 fps, and the game is considered to be playable at those speeds. If your game is lagging enough to prevent you from shooting, I would have thought there was another problem. Do you have any adware on your HD? Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and bring up the task manager, and check in your processes. Look for anything that is draining your system resources. In particular, look down your list of SVHOSTs (you'll see a couple of them). Are any of them reading 99%? If so, you have spyware on your system. Get rid of it with any of the free programs to do so.
