im trying to load some map mods onto a server and i cant find this info out anywhere on the web. for example, i downloaded a zip map file, i unzipped it in a folder on my computer, here are the folders i got from the zipped map textures, mp, levelshots, xmodel, scripts, maps, and glitchfx. What do i do with these folders? now once i get the map to my server i put the map name in the config file, is this correct? And how do i find the exact name of the map to type it in the config file. thanks:cya:

If it was compressed as a .pk3 file, then keep it like that. Then, put in into the "main" folder. You dont have to add it into the config file (at least I didnt). Then use Rcon and type "/map mp_MAPNAME" without the quotes.

thanks for the fast response, however, it came in a zip file and after opening it I got the above folders. maybe the site i got the mods is for a computer not a server. do you know a good site to get mod maps like brecourt winter

once you downloaded it and the file that is supposed to be a .pk3 file is a zip file, then simply rename the .zip extension to .pk3. If a question comes up about some loss of compatibility or something say continue anyway.

Here is what i downloaded. see attachment. so just take the zip file and rename it to a .pk3 and then upload it to the server in the main folder. Is this correct? Can I go into the config file and set my rotation then? thanks
