WiseBoboActually, bullets go where you aim, Mr. Dumass. Recoil does not change the fact that bullets go to where they are aimed. Bullet range only comes into play at a weapon's M.E.R.
Are you shitting me? You think recoil doesn't effect where a bullet hits? If you hold down a thompson full auto your first shot will be dead on and your last shot will probably be straight up to the sky. Recoil effects every gun that is fired fully automatic. Semi auto guns no because you have time to recover between shots unless you are pulling that trigger real damn fast. When a gun recoils the bullets aren't going where you were aiming. You were aiming at the krauts chest, first bullet hits dead on, second a little up, third even farther up, fourth top of his head and so on...bullets rise with recoil because the weapon rises.
Wisebobo, by where you aim, do you mean dead on where you aimed, on just general direction?
There are no bugs with the accuracy. The server may have been running a mod which changes weapon sway, hence your bullets hitting around the same area/direction. However, in stock COD/UO some weapons have different aiming accuracies depending on what stance you're in. For instance, the BAR: standing is 1.0, crouching is 0.6, and prone is 0.3. To put it in perspective here, a pistol is 1.9 (Luger is 2.0), a non-scoped bolt action is 0.1, and the MP40 is 1.25. Whatever the case, you're still a lot more accurate when aiming down the site. Period.
are you kidding me? why revive a thread over a year ago just to tell off an argument a year ago... oh right. you're a newbie at the forums.
