I figured out why this works. When the game wants your name to be a certain color (like in a kill message when it wants your name to be your team's color), it goes through your name and removes any ^# where # is a number. That way it can make your name the correct color. However, if you have ^^## in your name, it only sees the middle part as a ^ with a number after it: ^[COLOR=Red]^#[/COLOR]#. It removes that part, leaving just this: ^#. It doesn't check again, so that ^# stays in your name and modifies the color in kill messages and stuff.

ehhh i tried this out and I cant get it to look right....?

The color does change in the kill message but i always have an extra ^ or # ... whats the fix?

You gotta type this in: Lets say you want the name John in black You type in all of this --> ^0^^00John it will remain black constant. Same goes wid all colors.
