I have nothing against CoD by the way. I only have things against other players' tactics.
I dont like using mgs, when i use them i dont use them like rambo. I put them on Single shot and just tap the shoot button real fast when i get close...And for you rifle users Time your shots. If some1 is close and doesnt see you, Shoot when you've got a kill not when you think you can hit them and miss and band you dead...Noob Guns = Thompson Ppsh Bren Mainly Because every1 uses them...Like on Harbor. all you hear on the russian side is ppsh's
If i dont use any rifles, then what im using is the BAR. sorta a noob weapon...i agree. but with 20 rounds it harder to hit, especially if you arent used to the whole iron sights.
Don't think the BAR ar is as popular with n00bs as the faster, lighter mgs. I use the BAR if I am not using the Springfield on US Maps because it is like a rifle (hence the name Browning Automatic Rifle) and you can get headshots if you aim. I use it on smaller maps such as Gun-Assault, D-Day+7 or Carentan. I use the Springfield on maps like Ship or Bocage.
I like sticking with the rifles. I'm much better with rifles then I am with mgs, so if I have to choose an mg, I go for the BAR, Bren, or MP-44.
LMG's and Assault Rifle, COUGH COUGH COUGH!
so the bar was just a MG....?
Yeah, the BAR is a WWI LMG re-used in WWII.
I nearly always use an M1 on US maps, unless an SMG is more practical, like for clearing out a building. Once I'm done, it's back to the M1. I use the KAR and MP40 as a German, the Lee Enfield or Bren as a Brit, and a Mosin Nagant as a Ruski. I often pick up PPSh41s, though.
Reused from WW1? Was it modified over the years or was it the original because that would have been some rifle in WW1.
It wasn't used in WWI for fear that the enemy might copy the design, but it was around and available for mass production. It just never was until WWII started.
