I had been happily playing COD until several days ago without any problems. Then when I go to open the list of servers none come up. All I get is "waiting for response from master server" and hitting refresh does nothing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times. I've tried mucking with my firewall. All to no avail. I've got the patch. I use SBC dsl and have a 2wire router. I contacted both SBC and Activision but they know nothing. Please help. I may soon succumb to COD withdrawal.

Nevermind. I'm an idiot. But that didn't work either. More suggestions? I'll try just about anything at this point.

This should be in the problems forum...but anyways.

Yea, what WiseBobo said. Make sure your filters aren't blocking em. Also, make sure you're searching Internet, not LAN.

look at the top of your screen and see if your server thing says local... if so switch it to internet, thats what happened to me... it does it occasionally

I appreciate the help guys, but it's nothing that simple. I've checked and rechecked all my settings.

I had a same problem with 1.4 patch. My solution was re-installing my firewall. When re-installing it don't keep any of previous settings (i mean in your firewall). If that doesn't help or you don't even have a firewall then I can't help.Sorry!
