They were yanking your chain. Something to get the community excited about CoD. Just give your map to Fez to put up on CoDFiles. They aren't going to release this "community map pack" they advertised.

Well it's not THAT bad, but it essentially means all those maps that you sent to IW and they said you couldn't release them once they get submitted is useless. You can release those awesome maps that you put so much time and effort into for people to play.

well partly because probably nobody entered any maps lol
Only a select few can even produce a sky box.
