YES!!! It worked, i uninstalled an reinstalled then tired removing all the files you said, i think the error came from me removing the +map rotate from the target line a while back, anyway it works now, thank you so much for all your help :)

Yay! I'm glad it worked in the end. But it really wasn't the removal of the switch. This wouldn't cause a script compile error (basically bad visual c++ code). The problem is more likely a corrupt UO pk3 file. The reinstall corrected it.

ummm actually it doesnt work :(, what happened is that it loaded up in the console and didnt say script error and i quickly went on and saw i could get on, i then went and edited awe.cfg and noticed that it wasnt infact running on my serer, the changes in setting were due to dedicated.cfg, not awe.cfg i then tried pasting all of awe.cfg data into dedicated.cfg but got script error again. Does this mean that there is a conflict somewhere between dedicated.cfg and awe.cfg? mMy target line is currently '"C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set fs_game awe_uo +set dedicated 2 +exec dedicated.cfg +map_rotate' maybe i missed out +set fs_game awe_uo when i first ran it, im not sure but now it runs and says script error again. all my awe stuff is in C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\awe_uo and my dedicated file is in C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo. here's my dedicate file

Hmm for some reason the edit button has disappeared... Anyway to add to whats above i tried using the mod on just regular cod, using the same dedicated.cfg file and target line of "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDMP.exe" +set fs_game awe_cod +set dedicated 2 +exec dedicated.cfg +map_rotate This time it says

******* script compile error ******* unknown (builtin) method 'getstance'

if thats any help at all, i couldnt see get stance in either the dedicated.cfg or awe.cfg files tho. EDIT: Also ive just realised what another possible problem could be, i have version 1.41 for UO, will it run on that, or does it have to be 1.51?

Right several problems here: 1. This is wrong - sv_maprotationcurrent "gametype tdm map mp_brecourt" Should be: set sv_maprotationcurrent "" set sv_set sv_maprotationcurrentmap "mp_brecourt" set g_gametype tdm map_rotate 2. You have // in front of all your cvars. These are only used when you DONT want the server to use them. Take them out of all your current cvars. eg: You have: //set awe_disable "0" Should be: set awe_disable "0" 3. You MUST be 1.51. So upgrade to it now. This is the cause of the script complile error - awe 2.12 will only run with 1.51. 4. Your switch setup should be this: C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game aweuo +exec dedicated.cfg"

Hurrah, i finally got it to actually work, not just think i had :) one thing tho the map rotate you gave me doesnt work, i get this in the console

map_rotate... "sv_mapRotation" is:"" "sv_mapRotationCurrent" is:"" No map specified in sv_mapRotation - forcing map_restart. Server is not running.

however my originally method:

sv_maprotationcurrent "gametype tdm map mp_brecourt" map_rotate

works so its not a problem :). Thanks greatly once again for all your help, really appreciate it.
