First of all, you may as well play through the missions to get the story from it and get a bit of practice. Now I think there are a few cheats for CoD. Go to Google and type in something like "Call of Duty Cheats" or similar. Bound to get a few results.
tried it and it doesnt work....cant get any cheat like the MoH:AA "maplist"

First make sure you have cheats enabled. You can do this by adding "+set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0" to the end of your Call of Duty shortcut, without the quotes of course. Then when in the game (Can be during menu or mission) type in the following without quotes: "map x" X being one of the following maps: airfield berlin brecourt burnville carride chateau dam dawnville factory hurtgen pathfinder pavlov pegasusday pegasusnight powcamp railyard redsquare rocket sewer ship stalingrad tankdrivecountry tankdrivetown trainstation training truckride

you still have to play the whole game in order to move on in the story line - I think this is one of the worst draw-backs of the game. I hate playing the Tank ride - if I wanted to fight in a tank I would have bought a tank game. So I phoned Activision support and they confirmed that in order to complete the game within the storyline I would have to work through the level...
There are a few websites that offer a savegame file - with that you can pick and choose the missions and they continue to flow...
