I think the 5700 will work fine with that game and that resloution, but other more demanding games may not. If your just plaing COD then your fine, it not then you should lower the settings or get a new card.

I used to have a PNY something or other... I've no idea about any of its specs except for that it was crappy AGP. It could run cod on 800x600 with everything on high. By the way, this card was about 3 years old.

Thanks folks for the feedback. Praetorian, you make a good point. I checked around further and it seems that most people are running COD at 1024 x 768 with a few still running at 800x600. I've settled with 1024 x 768 and have maxed out most of my options. Glad to be on the forum ! jg1234

Praet0rianThe 9600XT is what I use. everything runs on extra at 1024x768 at around 90 FPS.

PraetOrian...thats interesting. Do you get any "image shake" from the recoil when you play games..like Call Of Duty? And of course I'm refering to the using of MG's. I have the GeForce FX 5900XT and I usually run things at 1024x758 with the settings on HIGH..but it will run most things on the "extra" setting also. Oh..and my FPS is usually at a steady 85. I think that is not too bad, really. But that friggin image shake I spoke of in another thread...is absolutely horrendous..and a hassle. Have a good one. Falcon
