Evil Tim... we established that it IS NOT POSSIBLE please read earlier posts, We are discussing the "RAG DOLL" for COD2 instead!

HSSWell, i stand behined HALFLIFE 2 more then by DOOM 3 Of Course (after watching some released footage of DOOM 3 OUTDOOR) i think it would be "ok" but HL2 can support and help COD2 waaaay more than DOOM3 can... EG: 1) Terrain can be moved and shifted at ANY TIME (good for random mortars and such) 2) The "Team Bot Code" is already written into HL2 which would make it really easy for the developers to add to it. 3) Half life 2 models (human) looks a little bit more realistic than doom 3 (Doom 3's human models look alot cartoony al-la Final Fantasy (THE MOVIE))

But BRING ON THE RAG DOLL!!!!!!

Let me point a few things out.

1. Half-life2 and DOOM3 aren't even released yet. 2.Doom3 is said to have terrain that can be moved and shifted at "Any time" 3.Doom3 is supposed to be having a very complex terrain damage system written for it. 4.Think DOOM3 won't have a team bot code? 5.The games aren't even out yet, what you have seen are videos and screenshots of the unfinished versions of the game, so you can't judge the models in HL2 OR Doom 3.

No i'm not behind Doom 3 more than half-life 2, i'm just saying you can't really judge games like you have before they are even out.

they need to rewrite the entire quake3 code if they want ragdoll in it

does anyone remember the game Postal2? that game was built off the quake 3 engine (if i can remember) and also used the ragdoll effect too - i wish cod had that kind of realism to it.it would add much more realism... not that its lacking a huge amount of noticable realism.

Postal2 was built off the Unreal2 engine and not Quake 3

I have own 2 (huge) avi's of DOOM3 and Halflife 2, im pretty sure that i will find doom3 really really good. but HL2 in my opinion would suit COD2 (with ragdoll more) but like was posted... after watching E3 footage, i cant stand 100% behined either one. just that COD2 would kick ASS!
