FarCry has an outstanding graphics engine that has cool ragdoll physics and a mile draw distance. The game was just released but the demos are good. Hopefully a Call of Duty PC sequel will have his type of engine.

though ragdoll would be really really sweet  :rock:
What type of engine does Farcry have? Or did the developers make their own?
Anyone evr played rainbow six 3? look at them man, weird
I actually like the "hitman" ragdoll effect there, cause when they're lying there you can shoot at em and move em into strange positions... like watching them flip and flop downstairs (i think better than postal 2) and when dead and stiiting upright or such they will slowly slide back down cause gravity and such would force an upright body or limb down to where it should be... wont look the most comfortable... but its where it would be.
CoD2, if they make it should be on the Havoc 2 engine... (That's what MoH: Pacific Assault will be on).
havoc 2 engine... hmmm... ... ... ISNT THAT WHAT, (ahem) MAX PAYNE 2, HALFLIFE 2 and PAINKILLER USING ALSO?!?!?!? It may be good (a subtle hint) to read everyones posts... THEN find out what u want to say... research your findings, and THEN go here... http://www.havok.com/clients/titles.php
(sorry but all these posts about havoc physics... c'mon, there are more ragdoll engines out there!!!)
Hitman 1, 2 and 3... Doom 3, Rainbow 6, Unreal 2 (Havoc help with Deus Ex) but NOT for UNREAL 2... whats even more funny is that ppl when shot wont lunge forward like they do in COD already... (arms flailing) "look at me i can fly" kind of way. They wont grab their throats when shot there... ( i cant see the developers putting THAT much detail once they are in shock and awe cause of the ragdoll physics)
I only want IW to make the corpses solid so no shooter can snipe through a mound of corpses. (solid so bullets can't go thru em but when prone and crawling u can still move thru em)
SOF2 tried with a QUICK -rigor mortis- (body stiffness, so the corpses wont be halfway thru the wall) that didnt quite work tho.
They could re-write a patch for the models in COD1, but it will be at least a 70mb File. at least.
Actually, Half-Life 2 uses the Half-Life 2 engine.
Yeh and cod just runs off a engine from quake 3 or something
