Registration has opened for the upcoming Battle For Europe (BFE) campaign. Following our last campaign, which was incredibly successful and popular, the new campaign features a whole load of interesting and exciting features! Designed with flexibility, BFE is a tournament that appeals to both casual gamers who want a bit more organization in their game as well as those 1337 CAL haxorz. So you may ask now "What exactly is Battle For Europe?"

Battle for Europe is a tournament-style campaign game for Call of Duty. BFE is not a clan ladder or like any other online tournament. Call of Duty players will participate in a simulated war, complete with commanding officers, divisions, and a grand strategy map showing the progress of the war from week to week. Moves are made on the grand strategy map, but the battles are fought out on our own call of duty servers! Think of it as a cross between a strategy board game and a first-person shooter, where you can immerse yourself in realistic WW2 environments and strategy.

When registering a player will be randomly assigned to an army, and they fight out a 6-8 week campaign. Beginning as a grunt each player has the chance to gain prestige and honor by earning promotions and/or medals. Players can get NCO spots such as Corporal and Sergeant, commanding small platoons, up to Captains commanding companies, and even the Commander In Chief of an entire Army. Twice a week, intense battles are waged for an epic 12 hours of hard-core gaming action, during which you may fight for as little or as much as you like! Of course there are other things going on out side the battles, such as practices, map testing and mini tournaments between the members of BFE. You will make many a friend and we at BFE:CoD hope that you will come and be part of our great community.

So what’s new in BFE 3? For those of you familiar with Battle For Europe Call of Duty, many things have changed since the last campaign. We now will be using two servers both of them will be 13 vs. 13 for more tactics, more action and more team play! We have also massively updated our map list, you will be fighting on only the best custom maps out their for Call of Duty which have gone through a thorough testing for their compatibility by our Mapping Council. We have enhance the overall strategy side of the game, now Commander In Chief's will have more flexibility with airborne attacks and also be able to buy more weapons to give their army an advantage in combat!

So what’s the catch? None! It really is as good, in fact better than it sounds! Excluding teamspeak and custom maps (all of which our hosted on our own ftp) all you have to do to get started is register at no cost at all on the main page, and check out the forums!

I really hope you guys consider joining our tournament. It's a fun break from the routine/hard work of a clan, but has the competition and loyalty that a clan does. If you're already in a clan, have no fear! Many of our guys are in clans and find more than enough time to enjoy everything that is BFE:CoD.
