Ive searched all over the net and i cant find one tutorial on how to compile a map regularly or using CoDbuilder. Can sombody send me a link or at least write up a small summary? Id greatly appreciate it because ive been working on trying to test this map out but having trouble compiling.

if u have codbuiler then u open it, make shore all the options are set up, in settings you have to fill in the multiplayer command line, dont use the brackets ( +set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 ), then once thats done select your map and click Build, u will get another menu pop up which displays the status or creating ya map, at the bottom click start compile, once it has finished all 3 process's (BSP, VIS, FLARE) click exit. Then in the cod builder menu(make shore your map is select) and click map options and then create a name for your map. Next you have to make shore you have PakScape. Now open Pakscape and click new, then create 2 new directorys ( maps , mp ) and then create another directory inside maps directory called mp. Ok now go into your callofduty/main/maps and look for yourmap.bsp yourmap.bak yourmap.poly yourmap.prt. Now copy these files and go back into pakscape and into your maps/mp directory and paste these files into it. Next go into your callofduty/main/mp directory and copy yourmap.arena. Then go back into pakscape and paste this file into your mp directory. Then save as, and save as type: quake 3 pak Now go into the folder where you saved the file and copy it into your callofduty/main and then run cod and it should be there I hope this helps you if not add ricsta@hotmail.com
