Hi Well, first, sorry for my bad english I hope that you can understand me...

I'm trying to edit the US rank that appears on CoD:UO MP. My objetive is to use US ranks when I'm playing as USA, british ranks when I'm playing as a british and the same as russian and german. I made custom british, german and russian ranks and I can overwrite only one rank. I can play only with one of my ranks(for example russian ranks playing as US and Ger). My mainly problem is that I have to edit a GSC file localized in pakuo01.pk3/maps/mp/gametypes/_rank_gmi.gsc and I don't know what can I do with this file. I think that if I edit this file my ranks will work. Can somebody help me with editing this file?? (some commands or tuts)

Thanks for read my post. Macarra :naughty:

It may be possible, but it would require heavy editing of the scripts.

I think that run 2 differents ranks can be possible

I tried the following:

this is the DEFAULT gsc file (_rank_gmi.gsc)

// set up the icons

game["br_headicons_allies_0"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@us_rank1.dds"; game["br_headicons_allies_1"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@us_rank2.dds"; game["br_headicons_allies_2"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@us_rank3.dds"; game["br_headicons_allies_3"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@us_rank4.dds"; game["br_headicons_allies_4"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@us_rank5.dds";

game["br_hudicons_allies_0"] = "gfx/hud/hud@us_rank1.dds"; game["br_hudicons_allies_1"] = "gfx/hud/hud@us_rank2.dds"; game["br_hudicons_allies_2"] = "gfx/hud/hud@us_rank3.dds"; game["br_hudicons_allies_3"] = "gfx/hud/hud@us_rank4.dds"; game["br_hudicons_allies_4"] = "gfx/hud/hud@us_rank5.dds";

and I added this:

game["br_headicons_axis_0"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@gr_rank1.dds"; game["br_headicons_axis_1"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@gr_rank2.dds"; game["br_headicons_axis_2"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@gr_rank3.dds"; game["br_headicons_axis_3"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@gr_rank4.dds"; game["br_headicons_axis_4"] = "gfx/hud/headicon@gr_rank5.dds";

game["br_hudicons_axis_0"] = "gfx/hud/hud@gr_rank1.dds"; game["br_hudicons_axis_1"] = "gfx/hud/hud@gr_rank2.dds"; game["br_hudicons_axis_2"] = "gfx/hud/hud@gr_rank3.dds"; game["br_hudicons_axis_3"] = "gfx/hud/hud@gr_rank4.dds"; game["br_hudicons_axis_4"] = "gfx/hud/hud@gr_rank5.dds";

my gr_rankX.dds don't works, but if I change (br_hud/headicons_axis_X) to (br_hud/headicons_allies_X) my custom ranks works but the original US rank don't works. May br_hud/headicons_axis_X commands work to do that possible? well I have noidea to edit it...that's why I'm looking for help.:uhm: Thank you very much.

Well, your problem is that both Germans and the Allies use the same ranks. In the script there is nothing that sets up what the Germans use for ranks, so they use the Allies. For some one who doesn't know how to script, editing it would be immposible.
