Sticky would bee good :nodding: Sites for Mapping Tutorials: http://www.codfiles.com (Tutorials) http://www.modtheater.com (Tutorials) http://www.iwnation.com (Tutorials) Mapping Resources: (Click the plus sign) Map Maker + CoDRadiant + CoDRadiant (Windows 98/ME) Map Packers + PakScape Compile Your Map Well, I use a .bat to compile my maps. Here's how. Start a new document in a text editor (windows comes with wordpad and/or notepad). Copy and paste the following: c: cd \program files\call of duty\tools\bin q3map -basedir "call of duty" ..\..\main\maps\mp\YOURMAP.map pause q3map -vis -fast ../../main/maps/mp/YOURMAP.map pause flare -extra -sundiffusesamples 10 -dumpoptions ..\..\main\maps\mp\YOURMAP.map pause Of course, change YOURMAP, with, obviously, your maps name. Than, save it as yourmap.bat and put it in your maps/mp folder. Click, and let it run. Have a tutorial? Post it as a reply!

Umm...go to the map depot at the IW forums, and look for a post called CoDPiler. It should be stickied. D/L that and use that instead.

download pakscape (links in the first post or click here).

Than open it up and follow my instrutions. 1. File > New 2. Object > New Directory (If New Directory is not clickable, click on the green folder on the far left menu so the foward slash next to it is highlited. Than go Object > New Directory). Name the new directory Maps. 3. Create a new directory in Maps and name it mp 4. Put YOURMAP.bsp in maps/mp directory.

You can download other maps off of CoDFiles and open them up in PakScape to see how they have their .pk3 files set up. Like what kind of folders they have, and stuff.
