Hi. For some reason whenever I preview my maps, all the rooms and areas are always lighted, even when the sky is night. I don't want this. I want corners and many areas to not be lighted naturally. Can you help me with this? Thank you.

Check the value you have for ambient in your worldspawn settings. It's probably too high.

Where are the worldspawn settings? I'm having a little trouble finding them.

press N and it will bring up the entity window, once thats done select a brush on ur map. now look at the bottom of the window, it has 2 boxes that say Key and Value, and above that is a window to show wot keys you have put in Key: minlightcolor Value: ".75 .84 1 once u have typed this in and press enter, ur world spawn settings now have the minlightcolor set (im not shore if u have to select a brush first but this is the way ive always done it, cos if u have selected a model or somthink u get some differene options up in the screen below, then u select a brush and u can see all ya worldspawn settings) just add [email="ricsta@hotmail.co.uk"]ricsta@hotmail.co.uk[/email] if u have any more trouble
