I am relatively new at modding sounds in CoD, so please bear with me. I got fed up with the repetition of the "treefall" sound in Call of Duty, so I decided to find more appropriate sound effects. So far, I have 7 sound effects, not including the original, for I did not want to hear it again. I made a pk3 file, with: sound/misc/(all the new tree fall sounds (treefall-treefall6), and soundaliases/gmi_sound.csv In the gmi_sound.csv, I found that treefall already uses up two lines... and, well, I copied the two lines and pasted it multiple times, to make room for all the new sound effects. I renamed the necessary file names, but still it wouldn't work. I wanted to have them randomize, so I gave them numbers, and tried putting in probabilites, but still there was no sound. Here is what I have in the gmi_sound.csv, viewed through Excel: sounds0ej.jpg Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong or forgetting? Also, what exactly should I put for the probability if I want each to be played an equal number of times? Thanks for any info. PS Please reply if this is not clear enough, I can probably clarify what I have done some more.
