hi i'm working on a special project... and I am wondering how do you replace all weapons of one type with another?

like say I want to replace every Garand in bastone with a tompson?

i've gotten the idea somewhat but i'm having a few problems with AItypes.

a lot of the Allied and english maps crash with "script error: see log" (what log?!) the russian maps seem to work just fine though (except perhaps kharkov where the gun I give myself doesn't make noise)

If this is SP (Im sure it is), you would do well to check the SP tutorials on www.modsonline.com.

A possible problem with the silent gun, (I assume you're using an American gun on Russian maps) may be that you need to add appropiate definitions to the Russian default csv file (whatever that may be in SP). I know I had to do it when I added Mosin Nagant to American menu on MP.

actually I'm trying to make a SP version of a modern weapons mod

now it complains to me about various alt-weapon issues.... "Bad alt-weapon" or "can't find alt weapon?" HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP FING COMPLAINING ABOUT FING ALT WEAPONS?!

update: nevermind I figured it out... part of it anyway. I'm still getting errors about the weapon that replaces the BAR... oh well, that weapon sucks major @$$ anyway so I'll over look it. I've managed to get the weapon sounds to work (I think, haven't tested all the maps yet)...

Now I just got to adjust damage and starting ammo on the weapons and I'll be set :D

edit: hmmmm this seems like it'll be harder than I thought. theres somthing thats making the grenade launchers start at zero clips and zero shots, but there should be more ammo... hmmm
