I am with a fairly new clan that has decided to get away from a power tripping clan. Well there are many reasons why we decided to leave, but its all irrelivent now. We need a little help with our server. Call of Duty We want to mod it a bit but I have little experience with mods and cfg files. Basically what i need is help with the config. I have worked with codam a bit and awe but I was unable to get them to work exactly like we wanted. Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and about 24 other adults.

I suggest using the AWE mod and when you downloaded that one open the AWE.cfg. Copy the lines (of the features you want enabled on your server) into your CoD_MP.cfg (donno if it's called CoD_MP but there is only one multiplayer cfg in your CoD/mains folder) file and start the server.

another decent mod is the VSUK mod . . expecially with the slimline Rcon command you can control from your options menu ... if you get stuck post a message on our website and I will try and help out if I can... www.fighting25th.com

if you want to mod a CoD server, you need to download the files to your pc and then unzip the files to a folder (depending on the mod) and then move the files to the main folder on the cod server. When you unzip the files you should get a txt file that will explain how to enable the mod on the cod server. Sometimes you might just have to type in a command through the rcon of the console to enable the mod ie /rcon password totalwar 1 (turns it on) or /rcon password exec totalwar.cfg, but like I said it all depends on the mod your wanting to get working.
